You choose where it goes.
Two per cent of every order is set aside for animal shelters. Each month, the people who ordered that month decide which one receives it.
The 2% is a company commitment tracked in our accounts, not a separate charity entity. See the Terms of Service.
A pledge you can't inspect isn't a pledge. Here is exactly how ours works.
How the month works
At the end of each month we add up that month's orders and calculate 2% of the total. Everyone who ordered receives one email — a short one — listing the shelters under consideration and inviting them to vote for the one they'd like to fund.
The shelter with the most votes receives the month's contribution. We publish the outcome the following month. One email, one vote, no further obligation.
Which shelters
We look for small, local shelters and rescue organisations — the ones where a few hundred pounds pays for food, vaccinations, or a vet bill outright, rather than disappearing into an overhead. Larger national organisations are not excluded, but they need a reason to be on the list.
We are not yet partnered with specific shelters. That is deliberate: we want the first recipients chosen by the people who made the first orders rather than picked by us in advance.
Nominate a shelter
If there's a shelter you'd like to see on the list — the one that took in your animal, or the one down the road doing thankless work — write to us and we'll add it to the next month's ballot.
What we won't claim
We're a small business selling hoodies. The 2% is a real transfer of money, and it is 2% — not a marketing percentage dressed up as a movement. We won't claim to have saved a number of animals, because we can't prove it. We'll show you what was given and to whom.
